Need help with Political Science books!

any good book for muslim political thought.....the one by m. aslam chaudhry doesnt make sense and it's a question-answer compilation.
also suggest books for international relations that cover the whole syllabus and are highly recommended.

AoA.
You don't need to post a new thread everytime.Just post it under your last thread.Anyways

Muslim Political Thought.
There are a few books in the market for Muslim Political Thought. The most popular among css students is one by M.Aslam Ch( which you have already discarded). You can go for Muslim Political Thought by ROSENTHAL. The book is not that easy to comprehend.

International Relations.

1.Politics Among Nations by Hans.j.Morganthau
2.International Relations by Parkash Chander

Prepare the thories and concepts from these books and then you will have to add current affairs with them to attempt the papers.

While some of the books in that FPSC list have had their latest editions printed no later than 1975, others are simply unavailable. I'm personally having a really hard time gathering all the books for my compulsory subjects.

Can anyone who has cleared the subject or is currently studying it recommend books, in order if possible, for the following topics? It would be ideal if the books, especially those pertaining to subjects that are recent, were published not too long ago.

1 - Western Political Thought
Western Political Thought by Judd Harmon
2 - Muslim Political Thought
Muslim Political Thought by Sherwaani Or Muhammad Aslam Chaudhry
3 - Part 'B' of Paper-1 deals with Political Science theory. A book recommendation for that would also be welcomed.
Political Science Theory and Practice by Mazhar-ul-Haq
4 - Selected Political Systems: Nature and dynamics of major political institutions in U.S.A., U.K., France and Former Soviet Union

5 - Political Systems of developing countries: Turkey, Iran, India and China.
World constitutions By S.L.Keeley for the constitutions of Iran and Turkey use wikipedia.
5 - A comparative and critical analysis of the 1956, 1962, 1973 and 1985 Constitutions of Pakistan.
Pakistan's constitutional and Political History by Hamid Khan.

Yeah Western Political Thought by Judd Harmon would suffice as far as western Political Thought is concerned. For answering questions you need to go through the chapters in detail and take out points or notes :). I assure you each and everything is there its just that one has to look for it.

If you find it difficult then may be western Political Thought by M.Aslam Ch would help as the information contained therein is in Question and Answer form.

A history of political thought plato to marx by subrata mukherjee and sushila ramaswamy is very good regarding western political thought. It is specially written for those appearing in civil services exminations and i found it much better than Western Political Thought by Judd Harmon.you can buy it fro Multi Lines books Lahore.
