There will be only one question in which they will ask us to explain few idioms( zarb u missal). Just buy Urdu General by Carvaan publisher. This book contain fair number of idioms and ashars. Memorize as my Ashars as you can. Memorize few verses of Iqbal as well and quote those in essay.
In my opinion, good writing and quoting ashars of famous poets is key to score high in Urdu.

Poetry explanation and Essay makes 60% of urdu paper so you need to be well prepared for both these questions.

According to the new outline of PMS compulsory subjects, PPSC hasn't mentioned the explanation of Urdu poetry. Should we expect poetry in the paper or not ?
