Kisi shai ki dil ko na thi khabar, ke isi tarah ka mizaj tha
Jo adam se bhaij diya idhar, meri ghaflatooN ka ilaj tha
Tujhey akhtiyar hai ham nasheeN, ise sach samajh ke ghalat bata
Kabhi maiN bhi rakhta tha saltanat, kabhi maiN bhi Saheb e Taj tha
Meri qab'r pa agar aao tum, meri ghaf'latooN pa na jao tum
Ke watan meiN rah ke hooN bay'watan, mere mul'k ka ye rawaj tha.
