Group-II: (To select subject(s) of 200 marks only)
Code No. Subject Marks
16. Physics 200
17. Chemistry 200
18. Applied Mathematics 100
19. Pure Mathematics 100
20. Statistics 100
21. Geology 100

It is clearly indicated that you have to opt 200 marks from this group, either one subject of 200 marks or two subjects of 100 each.

How to interpret "can be opted"?
Has anyone sought clarification from FPSC on this? Why I find it difficult to fathom that a single 100 mark subject can't be opted is because a subject like geology which is not even remotely related with Math has been placed with Math subjects. It simply doesn't make sense.
