Post Physics Paper 2 difficulty level for BSc Engineers

AsA I have come across a few posts about discouraging the trend of taking Physics Subject due to the difficulty level of its Paper 2. Kindly share any prior experience and the recent scoring trend. Would it be advisable to take this subject being an average engineering BSc degree holder?

I can't say without knowing your background in Physics? How much do you know?

Paper 1 and 2 both are challenging and require extensive knowledge though not at the level of a proper comprehensive BS Physics degree.
