hello buddies........
any one can help me that which subject should i choose from pure mathematic or applied mathematic or statistics

sureshlasi,
i think you should choose the subject which you have studied earlier and you have sound background of that sub.
Secondly, if you have studied all of them then choose the one in which you have good command.

Advice

Hi :)

As far as I know Stats is the easiest and the most scoring, then after that comes Applied Maths and then in the end comes Pure Maths......Waisay i don't recommend you opting for Pure Maths at all!.......

Go for Applied Maths instead of Pure Maths.........
...n also remember that although Stats is easier, Applied Maths is a 200 marks subject and Stats is a 100 marks waala!

I agree with quratulain. all three subjects r scoring.

also do go through last 5 year papers before making any decision. this will help u alot.

Hello,

I will suggest you to ask yourself which subject you are more comfortable with. Which subject you have more aptitude for? etc. In my case, I have studied both Applied Math and Pure Math before and I will choose pure math because I have more aptitude for pure math than for applied math.

I wont suggest you to take statistics becauase of two reasons, First it is 100 marks and you will have to choose another subject for remaining 100 marks. Suppose for remaining 100 marks you have chosen some non technical subject say Sociology, how would you find to study sociology after doing statistics. You will have to work hard to prepare your mind for that. Secondly, I dont think statistics is easy at all compared to the value(marks) you get for this subject. Now choice is yours.

thanks.

Dear asker

Regarding ur choice problem, the first question that so arise is the ur session level, I i'm not mistaking u r a bachelor of science coz if u had done masters in any of these respective subjects then u wouldn't ask such question.
Well, in such concern, it'll be good for u to select statistics instead of applied or pure mathematics, as there are number of topics out there which are of honors and masters level and thus they will consume great time of urs.
No doubt, these subjects are quiet scoring ones, but people must keep this thing in mind that even a minute mistake could vatiate the whole calculated work.

Further, if u have strong grip on physics then u can have ur chance for applied mathematics, coz afterall u've to design ur prospective.

Take good cae of urself.

Hey

I think that u should start wid English and Pak affairs, then go through Islamiyat and EDS. Do Current affairs by and by. Then touch the optional ones one by one.

What abt books? Have u got the books or still searching them? If u did nt then share wid us so we could suggest relevant books coz time is short for css 2007.

All d best
