Should a Civil engineer choose applied maths or pure maths?
i've read half syllabus of both subjects.

i need guidance from engineers

salam i think both are viable options it rather depends upon your inclination and background . i being an electronics engineer studied math in 6 terms and most of applied math paper is covered by that so for me applied math is best option . your course i dont know and you should make choice considering what you have read and also what you find easy

I myself a civil Engineer opted this subject, it's a scoring subject and we have studied a lot of it's course in our engineering study. Apart from the Tensor topic, all topics we have studied. So you must go on with this subject and you will be rewarded by Allah at end, IA.
