No. Rules are very clear. Either 1 subject of 200 marks or 2 subjects of 100 marks each.

so kindly suggest me that weather i should opt Math or i should go for other subjects.

thanks
Brother dont opt Applied Math. You will have to consume 2-3 dedicated months for its preparation. For only 100 marks, i will not recommend, even you are good or interested or whatever.

It is written in rules and unfortunately you are giving your statement without reading CSS rules. Rules file is available at FPSC website. Read all rules and I am sure after that there will be no ambiguity. On page # 6 of CSS rules, there is a table of optional subjects. In left column of table rules regarding subject selection from each group are given clearly. Following statement is written there.

"Group-II: (One subject carrying 200 marks from code 16-17 OR two subjects carrying 100 marks each from code 18-21 can be opted)"

So, it is not compulsory to take any subject from group 2 but if someone wishes to take subject or subjects from group 2, it is necessary to choose single subject of 200 marks or two subjects of 100 marks each. Neither less nor more.

Please answer me, My maths level is good and I am from engineering background, always have interest in maths. But to prepare for css I will have to learn the new topics of applied math and pure math. So, should I opt this?
