applied math for 19 ??
AOA .. is there anyone who is opting applied math and statistics for css'19 ??

yes I am. applied mathematics is confirmed but confused in second one either pure maths or statistics

i appeared with app math in 2014 and 2015
I was told by seniors not to choose it and now i am telling you guys to not to go for app math. even physics is good but please you will waste a lot of time so go for some other subject

i had 65 marks in applied math Css'17. They couldn't have been better so i will take my chances !!

Hi. I think applied maths is much easier now with the reduced/changed syllabus. I appeared in 2018 with applied maths and stats. I am not saying I had a great exam or that it was easy but it was certainly doable.
For beginners I would suggest the following: 1) integration and differentiation should be on your tips 2) I went for the following topics: i) Mechanics ii) ODEs iii) Numerical methods 3) I prepared only these topics and was able to attempt 5 questions in the exam. Remember there are no mcqs in applied maths.

Is it there any rule that applied math and statistics can be passed as combine? I mean both are in the same group i.e 200 marks.. Can it be passed with combine 66 marks? Or a candidate has to pass each separately?
