Default harsh marking in applied maths

aoa,
i have engineering background.. few people told me that marking trend in applied maths is extremely harsh.. is it so.?? and inspite of preparing subject throughly its difficult to pass app maths even??? i request seniors if they can clear this myth.. i m going to appear in 2013 with applied maths as optional

I don't think its true. It is quite obvious from CSS 2011 result that marking has been very lenient in Applied Mathematics as some candidates have scored 150+. One member has scored 190/200. However, scoring trend may change from year to year.

right.. i was exploring 2011 result on forum but didnot get any body with app maths unfortunately .. thankyou for reply
