Sir would you please suggest any good book for heat and wave equation. i have book of Nawazish ali shah but that book contains a lot of material about heat and wave equation like heat and wave equation in infinite bar, in infinite string, in finite bar, in semi finite bar and a lot of such material....so the point is too much cases just make me bewildered....therefore i want your guidance about this.

Classification of partial differential equations of second order
Standard solutions of wave equation and equation of heat induction

What we are supposed to cover under these two topics?
Wave Eq. & Heat Eq. as fatima mentioned, are very vast e.g. 2D,3D. Which topics we need to cover. If you could mention book and chapters that will be fantastic.
