Lecturers chemistry paper - was it justified?
AOA to all the respected members.....!
My questions to all the forum members who have appeared in the exam of PPSC Paper for Chemistry held at Rawalpindi / Multan / Lahore on 29 September 2011, is that was the CHEMISTRY PAPER as per Course? Was it a justified Paper keeping in view the Chemistry Course taught at M.Sc level in our universities? Did the Paper cover all the Proportions of Organic / Inorganic / Physical equally? Please respond to this Question? Your feed back about this will highly be appreciated and thanks |

the paper was totally Industrial
No Organic / Physical / Inorganic taught in our colleges/universities. Not a single question of Organic Chemistry / Physical Chemistry and paper was too much stuffed with abbreviations and illogical question like "what is the B.P of this Compound?". No conceptual question was found. The examiner remained limited to Cement, Insecticides and other Industrial Chemistry. Paper was just Inorganic and that too Industrial-Specific. Is there any provision under law that Candidates can prefer an appeal before courts against this injustice that paper was totally unjustifed? |

I gave the paper my self... It was not up to that standard of judging anyone's chemistry... It was purely limited to APPLIED/Industrial Chemistry which itself is an Optional subject. Not a single question from organic chemistry. I request you people to please come forward and write letter to chairman ppsc to take steps and to think of an alternative. The paper was not conceptual...

Hello
I am thinking about the mentality of paper setter what was in his mind while preparing the paper.

the paper setter was either drunk or was very harsh to young comers.......may be a brain-drain to tease the youth chemist as mush as possible......he had nothing in his mind but to crush many dreams of many people who had
waited long for PPSC to announce PCS after long time. whatever it was, it was a disaster, total loss and paper was whimsical, capricious and flimsy for people who are MSC in main fields...........! |
