Dear I do not have as such Idea of chemistry about PMS, but for CSS the repeatation of questions in consecutive years is minimal. Selective study can prove lethal so better to go through all the main thing thoroughly. There is no specific book you need to consult separate books for organic chemistry, physical chemistry and inorganic chemistry.

Yes these are almost sufficient because for CCE/PMS the syllabus is of Bachelor degree level, even then once have a look over the syllabus if few important things are missing you can read them from any available book. Wish you best of luck.

1.soler cell
#.A solar cell is an electrical device
#. converts the energy of light directly into electricity
#. It is a form of photoelectric cell
#. its electrical characteristics—e.g. current, voltage
#.Most commercially available solar cells are capable of producing electricity for at least twenty years
#.Chinese companies have played an important role in solar panels manufacturing in recent years. China produced solar cells/modules with an output of 13 GW in 2010 which represents about half of the global production and makes China the largest producer in the world
Other name: photovoltaic cell

2.voltaic cell
#.chemical energy changes into electrical energy
#.carring 2 solutions i.e ZnSo4(Zn electrod dipped) and CuSo4(Cu electrode dipped )
#.2 solutions connected by a salt bridge
#.Zn electrode oxidation nd Cu electrode reduction take place
#.electrodes are connected by voltameter in circuit
#.voltameter used to measure volts between 2 electrodes
#current passes Zn to Cu electrode
Other name: galvanic cell Daniel cell nd dry cell

3.fuel cell
#. A fuel cell is a device that converts the chemical energy from a fuel into electricity through a chemical reaction with oxygen or another oxidizing agent
#.Hydrogen is the most common fuel, but hydrocarbons such as natural gas and alcohols like methanol are sometimes used.
#. fuel cells are used for commercial, industrial and residential primary and backup power generation. Fuel cells are very useful as power sources in remote locations, such as spacecraft, remote weather stations, large parks, communications centers, rural locations including research stations, and in certain military applications
Other name:not know if any body knows then please share me

Well Chemistry gives good scores if you can give it proper time with full revision as well because selected study never works in chemistry. If you have seen the Q.Papers of latest years, they are asking A in 3,4 parts and by combining various sections like if a part is from Physical chemistry then b part is from inorganic and c part from environmental or industrial chemistry. This practice really makes a person worried if he misses any part of the Question. Selective study can prove lethal I must say. Its my personal experience as well.

Science subjects are scoring if prepared well in all aspect otherwise it ruins your merit, there is no concept of in between right or wrong. Either you score more or get zero marks.
So thats why every one suggests to opt general subjects which required only understanding and then writing in own words would suffice.
