in my advice u should not opt chemistry while doing m.phil . its become too tough to tackle all the portion ,as include physical and organic part especially for analytical student,, i have done MSc chemistry in inorganic/ana ,while attempting css 2013 paper in exam hall ,was a great test of my nerves and memory, because all paper is about physical and organic....

well its is factual reality chemistry has been a low scoring subject. well go for zoology or some other subject of you's interest and aptitude

hey hows 2013 chemistry paper. Share it with us..
I know physical is very tough but I believe its scoring as well. In our university toppers are always from physical as it include mathematical expressions etc.
em sure it will give u good score if u prepare it properly

yes, mathematical portion gives you marks , but prepare it and accurately remember the steps ,is great challenge, mathematical has both ends ,fully marks could be out!!

in paper i forget the Schrodinger wave eq steps at the end, similarly electrochemistry portion is also very tough for me, as i read analytically electro chemistry portion.
course is lengthy, require serious time , and also can come from out side the out line, nearly related to topic. i prepared css 2013 in very short time so i cant put full effort.

i believe it is scoring subject if prepared with pragmatic approach and a lot of related stuff preparedness. in C.E 2014 i will again appear with chemistry...

there is hell of difference between university papers and css papers. i got 91% marks in my physical chemistry specialization but i would never take a risk of taking chemistry in this nerve twisting exam. well,if you feel comfortable with chemistry then go with it

if you not started preparation of chemistry then ,in my opinion go for history related subjects, because during preparation in exams i felt that all papers were theoretical related and sudden change your mind to calculation was hampering my strength, but this time i will go with full swing preparation.because it keeps me in touch with my subject
and help in giving extra time to other subject....

i heard that zoology paper was very easy , if u have done BSc in recent past then you may opt it. and other subjects you opt are good scoring subjects.prepare it fully and come with flying colors in the result.
