I have noticed people do not usually opt for this subject, why is that so?
Is Geology not scoring?
I have gone through its syllabus and found its content very interesting. I have studied geology in my engineering as well.
I want to replace Islamic History with Geology, should i
do that?
Which one is better, Islamic history or Geology?

salam azure. I have opted geology and i also did enineering in that subject .if u have grip in that subject u should opt it n from which field you did engineering plz mention your field then i can give you good suggestion about islamic history or geology

Well i did BSc in Civil Engineering .
Geology was taught as a subject in our first year.
I do not have complete grip on the subject as yet but i think i can prepare it well. Geology has always been one of my favorite subjects.

Dear you might study basics of geology which seems to you very easy but i will not recomend you to opt it because geology is very vast field and you may face many problems during your study and i my self did geological engineer but still many things remaing in my course because of lack of notes , students of geology.I will recomend you to opt geography instead of geology because it scoring and interesting too and islamic history is not my subject but you should opt European History or british history the reason is that many of our students opt islamic or hindu pak history and the checker gives those good marks who is best among them so the competation is very tough in these subjecti.e islamic and hindu pak history so you shoul opt unique subjects for getting high marks and history subjects are easy to understand and you need no teacher for it.

Actually, i studied Geography but soon realized this subject is certainly not my cup of tea.
I have already studied Islamic History for 2012 attempt.
I think, i am left with just one option i.e to go for Islamic History again.
I don't find British or USA history interesting. Can't opt for that.

Geology paper 1 is too simple and easy but paper 2 is much difficult. These 2 papers are opposes to each other. Well i suggest to those who have done graduate in geology for picking it in CSS exams. i have done graduate in geology and attempted the paper with only 1 day preparation and got 63 marks but for paper 2 it was too difficult for me at that time. Although i cleared it but got too disappointed marks. well i suggest to those students do not to opt it who are not related to this subject before it. Rather than geology, Geography is good to opt.
