Physics is a tough and lengthy subject .
You will have to consult foreign authors .
I have physics as my optional ,but i will not recommend it if you will prepare it now while css 2019 is around the corner .
One needs expert's approach towards physics

I have ample time. The only thing which makes me think to opt it is that IR comparatively yields low score.

It’s not the time everything, i told you error margin, one vector changes everything. And of course it’s traditional physics far from modern physics.

I am not really sure what do you mean to say by "ample places".

No, its unwise to opt physics with an fsc level background.

However, you can take a book, fundamentals of physics by halliday resnick, if you think you can cover and understand the whole book before css exam, then you may opt for physics.
