Let's discuss Physics as an optional subject.

Seniors who selected Physics as an optional subject please share your experience on following points.

1. Overall selection ratio as an optional subject
2. Its Positive and negative points.
3. Length of syllabus.
4. Scoring trend.
5. Average Score of this subject
6. Time required to prepare.
7. Study Material and best books.
8. Hurdles one can face during preparation.
9. Paper attempting techniques.
10. Analysis of past papers

Highest Marks that I have seen in Physics paper 2 is 92 which is quite inspiring.

I with computer engineering should I take physics as optional or not ? if no I have to choose two subjects from these 4 subjects.

Constitutional Law /Mercantile Law
Indo-Pak History
Sociology / Physiology

Rest of my optional are Computer science, Public Administration, Gender studies next two are unknown.
Kindly guide me.

Salman, you can opt for physics if you were good at Physics in Fsc. But as far as I have heard, Engineers do need 2-3 months to prepare this subject properly.

And since you have already opted 400 marks subject, my recommendation would be to go with Sociology and Criminology; their genre is the same as Gender Studies. I wouldn't recommend C. Law or M.Law, they either require some background or are quite technical. Though Indo-Pak history is a good subject it yields a very low score and is very much biased.
