Default Why is it so in full wave bridge?
in full wave bridge rectifier
when we calculate the value of frequency and voltage experimently...
calculated value is showing small daviation from its original value...........
why is it so?
what factor is responsible to so do?

@ravaila
First part, Diode is not an ideal switch. 0.7V drop across the diode when it is forward bias. so in full bridge rectification 1.4V drop across two rectifiers in each half cycle. Thus if 12V is the input then 10.6V will be the output.
Second part There will be no slight change in frequency but it will be doubled.

yup it will b doubled but if m giving them a frequency of 100Hz after measuring it by using ossiloscop i get 204 .....hw this 2% increment in frequency is occuring?

there may be a problem with instrument calibration or in oscilloscope probs

wht kind of problem?

if callibration is perfect and still we r facing such error?

When I performed this experiment my input wave match with the output wave, so i believe some thing is wrong with your instrument,

how do know that the calibration of your OSC is perfect.....

bcz when i have taken 3 and 4 readings i got 2 perfect readings and in 2 readings max 2% error is occuring

there might be some kind of experimental flaw, and its not a big issue, just leave it and move on

yup.......its not a big issue but i ve to write abt this error and its cause in my report.thats y i was asking...
