Calculus in Physics
Salam. All those people preparing physics for css, I want to ask how much is the role of calculus i.e, things like functions, integrations, differentiations etc in physics? Do you people use this in deriving equations and numerical problems? eg, in 9th edition of Halliday Resnick Fundamentals of Physics, almost every topic contains functions and integrations. But in other books and even in 3,4th editions of same book; the physics is written in easy style as it was in good FSc. So what level of preparation CSS physics require?
What if someone who didn't study maths in FSc (eg, a doctor) but wants to prepare physics, can he get good score? In short my question is that how much calculus knowledge is required for css level physics? And without knowing calculus should one opt for physics? |

w salam
calculus has important role in physics. many topics are just derivation, as lorentz transformatiomn etc, SHM, electricty, thermodynamics. as many topics involve these basic of Math. and physics in css is not of Fsc level. for a dr Physics is not a good choice. regards

if u have just Fsc level with no mathematical background than its better to leave it.
best of luck
