Use of calculator in Physics Paper.
What only I need to know is this, are we allowed to use scientific calculators in Physics papers or not?
I need a reliable response. Regards. |
Dear Maria Khan,
As per rules of FPSC, you can use scientific calculator but make sure that it is not over-sceintific (lolz). I mean a simple scientific calculator with those functions which can help you in computations or calculations but not those sort of memory calculator which can save different formulae or solution of numericals. so feel free to use any simple scientific calculator. Thx for your tender assistance dear, I was also thinking the same, as a simple electronic calculator can't deal at all those typical mathematical operations which are frequently used in higher maths and physics. Actually the reason of my perturbation was one of the instructions which came along with my admit card, there it was written that candidates of scientific origin should bring their personel "Simple Calculator", they hadn't mentioned the term "Scientific", so looking on that I jumped here for the sake of confirmation.
Now I'm quite relax. Thx once again. FEE AMAN ALLAH |
Science students can use scientific calculators in science subjects such as physics. But there are not any complicated calculations in the numerical problems because the values of universal constants mostly given in the question paper.
