Is it worth it to with mathematics???? His scoring ratio please???

Go for Applied Maths and statistics

Not if it's not your background. You will be stuck. The topics are vast and require quite a bit of foundational knowledge.

I have Engineering background. I have gone through syllabus it is considerable, but i want to know about how much people are scoring in it???

Applied Maths and Stats can be pretty scoring if prepared well and under proper guidance. For example, I was able to score 90 in Applied Maths in my first attempt but only 45 in second. So these subjects can be scoring but I think there is very little partial marking etc. So the risk is there but risk and reward are almost always correlated.

I am not familiar with statistics i mean i have studied probability and statistics in one semester only.

There is little more than that to it. If you are new to CSS, I would suggest that preparing the whole syllabus for any subject is rarely a good idea for most candidates. The syllabuses for all subjects are quite vast so you have to do selective or “smart” study.

Now in case of statistics, I assume you would already know a fair bit descriptive statistics. So in my opinion, you already might have a staring point here that you may not have in other subjects.

If you do opt for statistics, get Sher Muhammad’s books. Follow the examples and you would be good to go. Exams questions are mostly taken from this book directly.

And if any other book is also required, please let me know..
