Should I go for mathematics without having educational background relating to math?

Hi all. I hope you will be doing well.
I'm a student of Chartered Accountancy (CA) and I want to be a part of CSS. I'm planning to go for mathematics (either pure or applied) along with statistics from group 2. But I have no educational background relating to mathematics. So it would be totally new for me. That's why I'm asking for your valuable suggestions. Should I opt it?

So, you can opt. Also opt accounting that is a best combination with maths. Both are highly scoring.

Instead, you can opt for accounting and auditing from group 1. It is more in line with your scheme of studies.
