fatima is now 5 times old as marriam but after 6 years she will be 3 times as old as she will be then. how old is marriam now.
a) 25 b) 12
c)18 d) 30
please explain your solution too for understanding.

30 is the right answer.
Fatima is now 30 so marium is of 6 years.after 6 years fatima will be 36 and marium will be 12 years.

it was a question of GAt. actually they asked about marriam's age in question that will be 6 but they marked 30 is correct . that is fatima's age .that looks confusing because marriam is of 6 not 30.?

is not the question wrong ? It should be asking about Fatima's age and no of Mariyam . In that case 30 is correct
