Default Please teach me how to calculate "Mean"

How to calculate mean from the following data?


Weight in Pounds No. of Students
100-104 ---------------------- 10
105-190 ---------------------- 15
110-114 ---------------------- 20
115-119 ---------------------- 25
120-124 ---------------------- 30
125-129 ---------------------- 20
130-134 ---------------------- 16
135-139 ---------------------- 14
140-144 ---------------------- 10


Please teach me how to calculate mean. Thanks

There are two methods of calculation of Mean one is for Ungrouped data and the other is for Grouped date, Here we need to apply method for the Groupded data as we have Class boundaries in this case, so the calculation goes like this.



Steps:
1. First we create Mid point of the Class boundaries
2. We multiply these Mid point values with given frequency.
3. we add the answers which comes due to the multiplication.
4. Divide the answer got in point 3. with the sum of the frequencies.
