Business Administration

I have Kotler's book for Marketing and Robbins book for management.

If anyone reading the same books then please tell me which chapters I

should read so that papers can be easily solved.

Dear Kamran,

According to my analysis, Preparing for Business Administration from One or Two Book is useless, I have done MBA. My whole MBA courses is concluded in One Business Administration Paper, So it is not possible to read one or two books.

However, books only cover the some portion of the questions, You need to search answers from the internet or get SOLVED PAPER KEY to learn from it.

This is what i think, best way to prepare for Business Administration.

Theres no need for a solved paper key for bus. add. i myself used just two books; robbins and kotler for the first two portions of the paper and tht was sufficient. most of the question are repeated and its easy to figure out the main questions tht are frequently repeated, if you just look carefully at the past papers.

Asalam,

Business Administraion:

I suggest you to go for Business Administration, Although the course is lengthy but easy to digest, And you are aware of Business Administration, it will be positive point for you. FM question (Financial) in business administration is solid marks. You can get 60 easily in business administration

Public Administration:

It is easy subject but new one, so it will take time; You have to read with the approach of 360 to get the good marks. Both are easy.

but i think Business Administration is having upper hand on Public, due to your background of MBA.

Dear whole syllabus can be covered from 3 books, management by griffin, marketing by cotler, and financial management
but for Budgeting process and Accounting cycle you would have to take material from other books. besides these books material provided on forum is quite enough to prepare your whole syllabus.

Accountancy and Business Ad are both scoring subjects and I suggest you opt these if you have studied these previously at the BS level or have an acca/ca background. I have come across many BCom and BBA qualified candidates not opting these subjects because of lack of confidence. Have a look at the past exams and judge for yourself if you feel comfortable.

I presume you have studied from Hailey College of Commerce going by your username.

Mercantile Law is rarely scoring so I do not recommend it even to people who have background in the subject.

P.S: I think a combination of Accounting and B.Ad can give one a combined edge of 30-35 marks on someone who has IR and P.Ad for instance.
