New Topics in revised syllabus of CE 2016

Asslam o alikum.
Syllabus of Public administration is different in CE 2016... several new topics have been added. Please suggest even after revised scheme of study, following books are more than enough or I should select some other books as well.

Public Administration / Personnel management by Sultan Khan Volume I & II

@ Sadaf Tahir
There is no doubt that some new topics have been added in the revised syllabus. But, this is the external thing. Actually, these very topics have been asked in the exam from time to time. So, it is good that FPSC has elaborated the topics to be covered. For instance, New Public Management was not clearly mentioned earlier, but it was being asked frequently. Similarly, the topics of Ombudsman and Corporations were not there, but they were also being asked. If you see PPSC Public Ad. syllabus, that and the revised CSS syllabus are almost on the same lines.

Now, the books you have mentioned are much helpful for the subject. I've them both. I would advise you to consult these two books as basics; for the remaining topics Net surfing is the best option along with taking material form the columns in the newspapers related to this subject, like Civil Service reforms, Local Government, Privatisation and so on. You'll find that the mentioned books lack in modern theories and approaches, which you can easily find on Net.
