Again, we fall prey to these charlatans because they provide cheap and easy fixes. They promise maximum marks in this or that exam, make their quick buck, and in the process trample over all notions of honesty and integrity. These frauds must know that we don't need them to do well on our exams.

I have just started studying public ad and naturally the first book i consulted was dr sultan khan's. I didn't expect it to be very good considering the generally poor quality of textbooks by Pakistani authors. But I have to say, out of sheer indignation as a student, that this book is an insult to all who spend their money to buy it.

As you can see from my post count I'm not a regular contributor to this forum, but I'm moved to such a degree by this blatant disregard towards scholarship and such an outright insult to our intelligence that I am forced to send this message out.

You are all highly educated people. Tell me is it too unfair to expect an eminent scholar to write a book that does not contain a hundred grammatical blunders on every page? Is it too unfair to expect an eminent scholar to not shamelessly plagiarise other authors?

Comparing the first chapter of this abomination of a book with the first chapter of the book by Hoshiar Singh was painful to say the least. Dr Khan plagiarises word for word, and even then he can't manage to form coherent sentences.

Please, I urge you all to put aside self interest for a moment. This book is touted as the 'best' book in the market for CSS, and for just this reason we all go out and buy it. We ignore the fact that by our spending money on such poorly written books we actually encourage them to continue insulting and robbing us. There are more quality textbooks out there than any one of us could ever read. We don't want plagiarized material written by someone who lacks even a fifth grade sense of grammar.

It is reality that Dr. Sultan Khan's book was copy pasted from Hoshiar Singh's book but now new edition of Dr. Sultan Khan's book is out in the market according to new syllabus of CSS. Hoshiar Singh's book does have quality material but it is not according to syllabus. Also never under any circumstances buy book by JWT it is useless.
