Public Administration vs Business Administration for a Computer Science Background

Hi,

I have a Computer Science background.

My Optional subjects are:

1. Computer Science
2. Psychology
3. Criminology
4. Gender Studies

Which one is a better choice BA or PA? I have no background of either BA or PA.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Go for public administration. It will help you in understanding beaurecracy and how it works. Not only this you will be able to know about different departments of government that how they work, how different ministries work. Budget making, human resource management, administrative setup etc,and there are many other topics in this subject, these topics will help you in interview. If not Interview, then atleast in other papers like Pakistan affàirs ,current affairs etc. Subject is a bit dry one but at the end there are a lot of benefits that you will be having at your end.
But this is just a suggestion. It's better to read this subject yourself for two three days, if you find it easy and you think that you have got an aptitude for it ,then go for it. Go through past papers ,see difficulty level of questions, read topics in syllabus. Only after all these things you will be able to know that which subject is suitable for you.

Hi,
Thankyou for your response. Is PA a good scoring subject? I have seen its past papers and BA's too. I found BA interesting too but it does not overlap with anything.

Every subject is scoring if you prepapre it well. Make sure that you answer in specific language of a subject. For example vocabulary used for public administration is little bit different as that of other subjects. In the same way business subjects have got their own language and style.
Every subject is scoring. It's upto you that how you prepare it and that how you approach it from the beginning.
