how to prepare Public Administration
 

Assalamu Alaikum

can any one suggest 2-3 comprehensive , easily available books that cover the whole course of Public Administration?

prepration tecnique is required too

ASA
its a good scoring subject.one can get good marks with not much difficulty. PA is Professional subject and shd be taken technically and not with news paper approach.

P.Ad is a simple subject but the problem is that there are no good books available. Everyone reads these two books and prepare it from these books and they r

1. Public Administration By Dr. Sultan
2. Personel Administration by Dr. Sultan.

These are the most confusing books and one has to read them very carefully try himself to clear various topics. Stick to these books and read them as much of times as u can and give it a srious thought.

Paper of the subject are simple and good scoring. Keep intouch with current happenings as P.Ad paper has one or two questions from current affairs specially [b]economy, industry[/b] or the like topics.

Don't worry about this subject as it is very simple. Keep intouch with previous papers and try to prepare the questions and objectives of previous papers as it will help u alot.

i think those books are not wroth a thing. I dont know why he got a doctorate for it. I do appreciate him for it because it is not stolen work as everyone does.
however to be given a doctorate for that is simply ridiculous.

The guy has'nt written to achieve Gold Medals,but to facilitate candidates preparing for the competitive examz.Secondly,Public Administration is a new discipline in Pakistan and had this Professor not resorted to simple language then people would've been found whining again.So go through the book from the exam point of view and you'll be able to formulate a more practical opinion. :closedeye

actually he did get a Phd for the personnel administration book, which at the start declares that. at least my copy says so.
I am not against the guy or something. i have heard he is a nice humble fellow. but i dont think that book deserves a PhD.

well i m of the same view "public ad. is easy but ur vision and perspective must be very analytical. while reading dr.sultan's books u must be very much carefull that what this accounts for ,what are the different angle that can be used to ask a question pertaining to certain topic"
