Please list most valuable Books, Links and sources of material to prepare public administration here.
I have never studied it but found it interesting while my stay with administratiotion students during my stay at hostel.

Public Administration is a scoring subject.One can bag good marks without difficulty.This is a professional subject and should be taken as such and not with the newspaper approach.
It's very simple but the problem is that there are no good books available. Everyone reads these two books that i've mentioned below:

1. PublicAdministration By Dr. Sultan
2. Personnel Management by Dr. Sultan.


Now how to prepare...

These are very extensive books therefore you will have to overlook certain chapters inorder to remain focused.
The papers are simple and scoring.
Keep in touch with current happenings as the P.Ad paper has one or two questions from current affairs specially economy, industry or the likes.

It is also advised to consider the past papers in the course of preparation.I'm sure these study techniques will prove to be useful to you.

Hye,
Kindly also use Tiyagi Book for the Schools and approaches of public admin.Its an old book. See if you can find material on New Public Management or Reinventive Government etc from net or newly published books.
