I got planty of information from you people, even i don't have words to express my thanks. ya definetly i will go to opt indo-pak history, though i have studies islamic history. i am not opting IH, coz it is lengthy. now adays i am going through the past papers. the things wich is confusing so far is the political science. it is interesting but bit hanky. anyhow if the preparation of PS helps me for Constitutional law. then i will opt CL as well, otherwise journalism is looking interesting as well as simple.
thanks all of you for showing such a wonderful spirit to help those who are in need...........

Dears, I am selecting Islamic History because it is very helpful for preparation of Islamiat paper, What do you think about it. If Indo is helpful for Pakistan affairs than Islamic History is helpful for Islamiat. What are your suggestions???????????

AOA. Pak Affairs and Indo-Pak History is much similar to each other. But in my own opinion, Islamiat is not as much similar to History. May be, it would be helpful a little but not much. However, if you are interested in Islamic Studies, then I am sure you would have much knowledge about its History as well, may be that's why you sounds to be attract by it.

The best suggestion can be give by your own mind, because you know your ownself well, more than anyone one else. Compare the syllabi of both of the subjects.

After comparison, if you think that you can handle, the problem is solved because CSS preparation is name of just furnishing your knowledge, not starting from the first point except than a few papers from Group B.

I think Islamic history is also a good subject , because it helps in atleast 6-7 objectives. Indo-pak is notorious for being a low-scoring subject, plus its p1 is difficult too ( requires more work than a 100 marks subject) . In my opinion 100 marks subjects are easiest to prepare in shortest time e.g. journalism,muslim law(help in islamiat as well), sociology , American history , agriculture, forestry , mercentile law , public admin . Even IR's paper of 2009 was so easy(also its course is lengthy) . All were cook-book questions.

For mis Sabah, muslim law , journalism or US history would be a better replacement than a History subject

i had selected indo pak since i start prep last month but many of those who opted indo pak suggested me 2 switch 2 british or islamic history
can any one help me with some solid reason so that i can have a final decision

salam ;dear mohsin ;you must realize that you are the best judge of yourself; you ought to be aware of the fact that;how much you have grip and knowledg in any perticular subject.the more you entangle yourself in opting subject the more you will trumatize yourself.the best fotmula is to take decisive step and bear one thing in mind that
