Default British History: Subject Analysis and 2018 marks

Dear Aspirants,

First of all, i would like to know those who appeared in 2018 CSS and opted this subject, please share your marks?

Secondly, why are so many people afraid of British History (One reason i can deduce is that its lengthy) and more reasons would be appreciated?

Thirdly, veterans of this subject, please share the pros and cons of this subject. Especially for an aspirant like me who has twice opted for US history (My score in 2016 was 70 and in 2017 was 61) will this be a good subject since it has always fascinated me a lot.

waiting for your kind suggestions

Why on earth are you dropping US history if you have such good command over it? low scoring in one year (2018) doesn't mean low scoring every year.

Thank you for the reply. I always wanted to go for British History but i haven't studied it before like HOUSA. I wanted to opt it in 2017 but could not since many did not favored my decision. As far as US history is confirmed, all i can say is thanks to Hollywood movies, documentaries and cartoons that assisted me in having a good hold on it. furthermore, i have witnessed since 2013 that many aspirants have been opting US History and in 2016,2017 and 2018 many people got targeted in this very subject. It's not just 2018 my friend, previous 2 year result are in front of everyone.

Ok, as you wish. I was also planning on opting for British History but since it has been decent scoring in 2016,17,18 makes me think it will come under the butcher knife in 2019. This is what FPSC does to our minds, they make us shaki and insecure. lol

Anyway, here's a link to an old thread about suggestions given by a CSP who scored 140+ back when BH was a 200 mark subject. The syllabus has only slightly changed.

Thanks mate and regarding your butcher knife statement, couldn't agree more. FPSC is one ruthless monster when it comes to marking
