Default I am here for help .

I have given my first attempt this year , opted euro history , worked hard but only by trail and error I was able to prepare this subject.
BY the GRACE OF ALLAH , I have got 35/40 mcqs right, subjective portion went very well .
But regretfully I got no help from THIS SUBFORUM, even I was misguided , may be not due to intention, but I was certainly advised wrongfully.
SO , any newcomers who are opting for euro history , I am avaliable for help .

IT'S a bit lengthy but safe and very interesting and once you have prepared you don't need to revise much as its scope and topics are wide, and you can right them easily .

BEST WISHES.

I don't know about British history.
European history is somewhat tough but interesting, wide in scope and no need to revise, once you have grip on it.
BEST BOOK- VD MAHAJAN.
Stuart millers book is also good for revision.

Awais is it safe to go through these two books only for good prep of european history? Kindly let me know any other reference books as well if there are for scoring high in the subject

MAHAJAN is one huge book , and it's very "deep", requires 3 readings for a good understanding .
I was told by some senior on the forum to go for Europe since napolean by Thompson D , but I didn't find that a good book. It's just for some parts of paper 1 , but overall MAHAJAN is a complete book for exams, you will be able to attempt more than 4 Q , only by studying it.

How were you misguided by this subforum? Kindly explain. I have chosen european history for march 2014 exam. I am starting David Thompson and Stuart Miller for this subject. R these books enough? Guide me how to prepare and which books to do? What is misguiding in this forum?

Don't rely on movies alone , consider the syllabus and other subjects of CSS too.
European history can prove to be an uphill task for many . Only opt after considering all the possibilities.
