I have never made any notes in life .I believe when you limit yourself to notes , you are moving away from the original source .however , everyone has their own way to do things , you can make notes .
And also try to use highlighters of 2 or 3 colours bro, 1 for important points on a page , 2nd for quotes etc , 3rd for second read . You will see after studying like this, that you will automatically make notes without writing on separate pages.
But again how you feel comfortable is imperative.

Stay blessed .

Dear awais bhai hope you are enjoying a good health. Kindly share some very important topics(if possible then questions) of paper 1 European history by keeping in view the 2013 paper and quantum of expectations in all previous papers. I have a good grip on paper 11 but lack sound footing in paper 1.please help me thoroughly.

French philosphers and revolution have not been asked in last 2 years , they were a must before that. So expect a question or two from these topics. Other Important topics are
1) Napoleon
2) Congress of Vienna
3) Unification of Italy and Germany
4) Eastern question
5) Road to First World War ( Alliance system and colonialism )

On any day , Euro history paper 1 can be solved from these topics , as one has to attempt only 4 out of 7 questions.

@awais274
brother would you tell me what should be an ideal lenght of an answer in EH's paper...?
I separately posted this same question but got no reply.It appears to me that this subforum is an abandoned corner of this forum.

4 to 5 pages.
If you know more and some essential points , even 6 to 7 pages can be written.
However, it all depends on the substance , not on length of answer.
