Default Recommended books according to new syllabus?

Dear friends,

Compelled by syllabus and pattern change, i am left with no choice other than changing optional subjects. I am going to select "History of Pakistan & India". Can anyone please guide me book/books to study so that the whole syllabus is covered?

Thanks in Advance.
