Don't opt Indo Pak history. Its less scoring. Sociology and Journalism are better, easy and relatively scoring.

yes don't opt indo-pak as it is not a scoring subject these days better to go for sociology or journalism...otherwise you can opt psychology which is also scoring and easy

I don't think that Indo Pak is such a low scoring subject. I know a lot of people who opted indo pak, scored good marks and they are CSP now. no doubt, sociology and journalism are good subjects but if you prepare indo pak from quality books its not a bad option. In fact if you have interest in history go for indo pak and if not then opt journalism and sociology.

I would not recommend you Indo Pak and Urdu. I know they have given scores to some people, rather good scores, but exceptions are always there. Overall these subjects are not scoring. And you know, in CSS a single score matters billions when on the edge.

So, I would recommend you Journalism and Sociology. These are easy, understandable and scoring (though journalism was axed in 2010 but now back on track). But you need to consult good/standard books for these subjects to score high.

I am also of the view that to whom you are not recommending the subject may be most favorable and best according to the him /her.
