How good is S.M.Ikram's Book i.e. " History of Muslim Civilization in India and Pakistan" ?

in addition to that, i wanted to know whether the above mentioned book and Muslim Rule in Subcontinent - S.M.Ikram are two different books?

They are the same books bro with just different titles by different publishers. As for the book its a good read but from the exam point of you I wouldn't exactly recommend it except for some reference or qoutes.You'll really have to spend alot of time gathering yourself the info you need. Thats what I felt after reading it though rest is upto you :thinking
