Confusion regarding US history books - Please reply
Dear All ,
I started going through Maajumdar's book and went through a hundred a pages , also made outlines simultaneously but I found that it contained a lot of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes thus making it a difficult task to read and comprehend. Furthermore I started reading Howard Zinn but found it to be too narrative in context, i.e discussing particular events in too much detail , that seems unnecessary. For example: How Columbus behaved with the West Indians. Furthermore , it lacks proper headings . Now I wanted to ask which book should I read. And furthermore , do we have to read the complete book or point out specific questions from the syllabus topics and than find material on them. |

Two Options:
1. Majumdar's book is a good book if you keep this thing in your mind, while reading the book, that you're using that for learning History and not English😑. 2. Use the FPSC recommended books. Good luck!
