in my first attempt, i referred to this book. In my opinion, this book is not sufficient, Sir Naveed bhutto notes are good during exam days for revising when you know the whole story behind one line or one word written in them. However, thy may give you 40 marks if you keep yourself update with new developments and perform well in objective. But for 70+ marks, not at all. This book contains just highlights not details and miss many important points to keep it concise. to best, you may guess from its name, CRAM SERIES, it's same just like in school you prepare just 8 out of 20 questions. Now if luck is with you, 3 out of 5 questions come in paper from those 8 questions and you pass the test, or vice versa.

I hope you got my point.

Thanks for guidance... Yeah i wasted 5 days by preparing from this book till i realised it was futile to rely on that and then switched to Majumdar's book and found it quite helpful. Just a quary left: Majumdar's book doesn't cover post WWII scenario, without any hint of cold war whatsover, while a good portion of paper, usually 2-3 questions, are from this portion. Which book would you suggest for that portion?

@faiza rajput Don't you think a People's history of the USA is very story like? Doesn't that make it a bit difficult to learn from exam point of view?
What is your strategy t o prepare from a People's history of the USA?

Sir Naveed's notes are best when compared to other notes but never ever rely solely on any sort of notes if you want to score 50+.. They may be used for revision... Majumdar is a well-versed & lucid book and comprehensively covers history portion from 1942-1960s in question answer format... A must read for sure

Yes, It is story like and there is lot of extra details. So I read first line of paragraph, if it feels relevant, i continue, otherwise I jump to the next paragraph. However, I carefully note down all the dates given in this book. Further, the thing that I like about this book is this book is very critical of every development and every president of USA history. If you note, other books contains lots of bragging and try to explain every point in positive light. However, this book contains dark side of everything.
For example, Everyone praise Abraham Lincoln but this book presents other side of him with proof. I hope I made my point clear.....
