Well i consulted only one book (majamdur). other than that watched videos on youtueb "crash course" that is pretty much i did for my US history prep

Yasir can you tell me how you structured your answer?

Did you give analysis throughout the answer as you wrote the various points or did you give a critical analysis at the end? Did you use quotes or maps?

The course is available on youtube. well not course to be exact but details of all main events in US history are mentioned in crash course videos.
the book name is History of USA by majamdur and srivasthav

My answer was broken into 3 parts
lets say the question was define Truman doctrine

part 1) intro, history/ background
part 2) critical analysis of the events (compared with IR realist theories)
part 3) conclusion/ ending
my answers were to the point, precis and without long stories
