In how days whole syllabus can be prepared?

Almost 6 months are required for study.

I am asking particularly about US History.

Depend upon each individual but usually 15 days to a month are enough since you have to learn a history different to history of your own country along with maps, facts and statistics.

it totally depends on your retention capacity, for my masters I prepared the much longer syllabus of US history in a week . But I had all notes and data compiled already.
