Default US History for CE-19?

Would it be safe to opt for US History in CE-19 given that it has been heavily butchered this year? I have already prepared it and don't know what to do now.

Scoring trends are changing every year. They are not sticking for 3-4 years as they were used to few years back. Some subjects which were butchered last year have shown really good scores this year. Also some subjects in which students had very great scores last year are butchered this year. There is high level of uncertainty. Those who are appearing in 2019 will again face the situation faced by the aspirants of 2016. As per my information, every three years examiners as well as paper setters change. So, no one can really say anything right now. In my opinion, you should go with it of you are comfortable with it. You have already prepared and there is not much time left for coming examination. Now, focus on getting high marks. Prepare those things which will differentiate your paper from others. If you think that in remaining time you can easily prepare other subject which can fetch you good marks, go for it then.

Consistency and belief are beneficial for CSS 2019.

css is all about luck in the end. so dont be daunted by what is at front. you just have to appear with the best that you can deliver. if you get scared you will not be able to perform in the exams. i appeared twice. so am speaking from experience. i am also certainly choosing us history as it was targeted in 2018. conversely, i am choosing criminology which was not targeted in 2018 but i have no other choice. if in the end css does clear me there will be other things to do. gain knowledge and you will not be afraid from anything.

For US history, you must refine your brainstorming techniques with a view to remembering dates and tenures of presidents. If you do so, you can get full marks in mcqs. For subjective portion, more focus should be on the events of the present and last century (1900-to date). I got 57 in US history in 2015 and this would be my second attempt.
