walikum us salam
first of all i will say political scienc , constitutional law(instead of public admin), usa history is the best combination,,as it was also of ABDULLAH NAYYER who got 3rd position in CE-2010,because these three subjects are very much linked
usa history contains one question of constitutional law
constitutional law is very scoring and it is almost same pol science paper 2

usa history: mujamdar volume one(pink book) is a very good book but as u see paper of 2012 you will find that only one question came from that book and 3 questions were from volume 2 (blue book),, both books are important,, as in 2011 4 questions came from volume 1... first of all read volume 1.. just read it... no need to cram ,, just read it and try to remember the event gernally,,,after that read the voulume 2... when u have finished with this thn revise and read again..no need to consult any mcq book for that.. because it is very difficult to cram mcq's but if you read the events and remember mcq,s regarding those events then it will be easy for you inshaAllah

one more thing which i think is very important,,as there were some important topics in past,,but this time the paper shocked everyone,, even if the question were from book it only contains bookish knowledge upto 25 per cent,, remaining knowledge you have to present with your analytical approach and gernal perception about knowledge,,,i think its critical analysis
you should read these books,,not cram,,only read and revise again and again,,,than also search that topics from internet Index of /apus/history it is very good website,it will develop your analytical appraoch

moreover m gona post the link of ABDULLAH NAYYER tips who got 3rd position in CE-2010

best of luck..... need prayersss.. may Allah help you

walikum us salam
i am not saying that your subject selection is bad but the point is that with these subjects your prep will be easy and less hectic, moreover these subject are also scoring,,for example if you change public admin with constitutional law or not than what can happend,, you will get 60+ marks in both cases but the point is that you can cover const law with almost no prep, your time will be saved,,one more thing usa history one question came from constitution of usa which you will cover in pol scienc or const law while reading const of america,,,if you havnt use the book then go to book shop and there you can change it,, one more thing public admin is also good,, u can still take it as there are also css officers who have taken public admin,, i was just saying because in that case you would hav good and time saving combination,,you will have to cram all mcqs too and in const law case mcq's will be prepared by pol scienc...
conclusion: const law can make your combination good and can help you in more score coz of mcq and prep and time saving advantage
public admin is also not bad but as compare to const law its not very good as its avg marks are in 50-65 but in const law we also see 75-80+ marks
