AOA,

Just wanted to confirm whether Fatimids are a part of the CSS syllabus...or is it safe to completely ignore them?

In what context you are saying, if you are talking about Fatimid caliphate in Middle east for Islamic history and culture, then prepare it also.

How can you evev think of ignoring fatimids you can ignore thr rest of islam but not fatmids

Not so important for CSS...In history as well, they haven't got some dignified place.
Was a trouble for Saladin and he finally had to end this caliphate. Yes, their contribution in arts,architecture etc should be covered.
