According to Quran and Prophet s.a.w all Sahabas are trustworthy. Allah says He is happy with them and they are happy with me (no exception)

“Allah is well pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gradens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever. That is supreme success” (Quran: 9:100)

ALLAH Says in Holy Quran:

“Muhammad is a Messenger of ALLAH, and those who are with him (Sahabah) are hard against the unbelievers and merciful among themselves, thou seest them bowing, prostrating, seeking bounty and pleasure of ALLAH, their mark is on their faces, being the trace of prostration. That is their likeness in the Torah and their likeness in the Gospel, as a seed that puts forth its shoot, then strengthens it, then it becomes stout, then it rises straight on its stalk, pleasing the sowers that, through them, He may enrage the unbelievers, ALLAH promises those, who believe and who, out of them, do righteous deeds, forgiveness and a big wage.” ( 29 : 48 ) Al-Quran.

Sayings of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w):

“In the later times, a group will appear, called as Rafidha/Raafzi. They will reject Islam“.

“A group will emerge soon who will abuse my Sahabah and endeavor to find faults in them. As such you should not keep their company, nor dine with them nor have marriage relationships with them from either side. You should not greet them either. The curse of Allah be upon them“.

“Fear Allah in every matter concerning my Companions. Do not make them the targets (of your criticism) after me. Whoever loves them loves them out of love for me, and whoever hated them hates them out of hate for me. Whoever troubles them has troubled me and whoever troubles me has troubled Allah; and whoever troubles Allah, it is imminent that ALLAH seize him” (Mishkat , Tirmidhi, 554.)

Hadhrat Auf bin Maali ( Radhiallahu anhu ) was once having his afternoon nap in the Masjid when he beheld in a dream the voice of a lion coming from Allaah Ta’ala. It said to him “Go and give Muawiya (Radhiallaahu anhu) good news at him being a dweller of Jannah.

Its written in Tasfeer Ibn Kaseer that Ibn Kaseer saw a dream. In that he saw Prophet s.a.w, the first our Caliphs r.a and Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a. and they were together.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) once prayed for Sayyidna Amir Muawiyah Bin Abi Sufyan (RA) like this:

” O Allah ! Make him a leader of the people and make him a guide through whom the people might be guided.”

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had said:

“The first group of Muslims to make Naval Jihad will be the inhabitants of Heaven. “

History bears witness to the fact that the first Naval Jihad in the history of Islam was organized and lead by Sayyidna Amir Muawiyah Bin Abi Sufyan (RA).
During the Calipahte of Sayyidna Abu Bakr Bin Abu Quhafa (RA) and Sayyidna Umar Bin Al Khattab (RA) Sayyidna Amir Muawiyah Bin Abi Sufyan (RA)
served in the army and fought under the command of Sayyidna Khalid Bin Al Waleed (RA), Sayyidna Abu Ubaida Bin Al Jarrah (RA) and Sayyidna
Yazeed Bin Abi Sufyan (RA). After the death of Sayyidna Yazeed Bin Abi Sufyan (RA), Sayyidna Umar Bin Al Khattab (RA) appointed Sayyidna Amir
Muawiyah Bin Abi Sufyan (RA) as the Governor of Syria. When Sayyidna Uthman Bin Affan (RA) became the Calpih, he confimed Sayyidna Amir Muawiyah
Bin Abi Sufyan (RA) as the Governor of Syria and added some more territories to his jurisdiction.

Sayyidna Ali Bin Abi Talib (RA) had once said after the Battle of Siffin : ” Do not speak evil about Sayyidna Amir Muawiyah (RA) because if he were to die, our lives would become so insecure that you will see necks flying from the bodies everywhere.”

Sayyidna Abdullah Bin Abbas (RA) once said: ” Leave Sayyidna Amir Muawiyah (RA) alone because he is a person who has enjoyed the Companionship of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

May Allah be pleased with him and all other Companions who are the pillars of Islam.

There was a man coming towards Prophet s.a.w. When that man came near by, Hazrat Umer r.a, told Prophet s.a.w, this man curses the Companions.

Prophet s.a.w asked that man about this matter. The man replied, I only curse Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a.
At this Prophet s.a.w handed a sword to Hazrat Ameer Muawiya and told Him to strike that man with that sword. Hazrat Ameer Muawiya did so.

When Ibn Kaseer r.h woke up, he heard loud noise of crying from the neibghor-hood. When he went outside, he found out a man had died, and someone had struck him in the back. It was the same person he saw in his dream who used to curse Hazrat Muawiya r.a.

This is the punishment for cursing/hating the Sahabas even in this World.

1.Hadhrat Ameer Muawiya (Radhiallaahu anhu) is also included in all the Qur’anic verses which illustrate the virtue of the Sahabe Karaam.
2. He is also included in all the statements of Nabi (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) concerning the Sahaba.
3. He was among those fortunate ones who wrote the Qur’an Kareem with their own hands.
4. He was at the fortunate group who participated in Jihaad by the side of Nabi (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam).
5. He was of those propitious person Ali ( Radhiallahu anhu )ties he heard the Qur’an from the blessed tongue of Nabi (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam).
6. He was also amongst those who enjoyed the good fortune of performing salaat behind Nabi (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam).
7. He was of those who directly narrated the words of Nabi (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam).
8. He had the great fortune of actually seeing Nabi (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam).
9. Of those people before when Nabi (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) ate food was Hadhrat Ameer Muawiya (Radhiallaahu anhu).
10. He was one to see Nabi (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) walking before him (i. e. in the flesh).
11. Hadhrat Jibraeel conveyed Salaams to him (Al Bidaya wan Nihaya).
12 Hadhrat Jibraeel advised that Hadhrat Muawiya (Radhiallaahu anhu) be treated well (Al Bidaya wan Nihaya).
13. Allaah had declared him trustworthy

Default Your are biased

Bro you are biased and nothing can help you. Nevertheless, you are promoting the MOST controversial and hated personality in Muslim history. Once, Imam Bukhari was asked to say some good words for Muawiya bin abi sufiyan. And he said " I have not come across a single sahi Hadith in which Huzoor S.A.W.W has ever praised this man. His greed for power has destroyed the very institution of Khilafat"

According to Arab historian Ibn Kathir

At the height of tension when fighting was about to erupt at Siffin between Imam Ali and Muawiyah, Muawiyah was informed that the Byzantine Emperor raised a very large army and was drawing very close to the borders of the Muslim state. He wrote to him, giving him a very clear warning, 'By God, if you do not stop your designs and go back to your place, I will end my dispute with my cousin and will drive you out of the entire land you rule, until I make the earth too tight for you.' The Byzantine Emperor was scared off and abandoned his plans

In a Saheeh narration from the RasoolUllah Sallalaahu alyhi wa Sallam it says that he prayed for Mu`aawiyah with these words: "O Allaah! Teach Mu`aawiyah the Book, and save him from the fire" [Imaam Ahmad's Musnad (4/127), Ibn Hibbaan (566)]

RasoolUllah Sallalaahu alyhi wa Sallam said about him: "O Allah, make him
guided, a guider, and guide people through him."
[Sunan Al-Tirmidhi, Book of Virtues, Chapter of Virtues of Muawiyah,"]

Seyidna Muawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan [radiya Allahu 3anhu wa Ardaah] Many Muslims are ignorant when it comes to the status and high level of Muawiya Ibn Abi Sufyan –Radia Allahu Anhu-. They do injustice to him because of the fitnah that occurred between him and Ameer-ul-Momineen and the rightly guided Khalif Ali Ibn Abi Talib –Radia Allahu Anhu-. Mauwiya did not want Khilafa nor did he object to the Imamate of Ali Ibn Abi Talib –Radia Allahu anhu-, rather he demanded retaliation against the killers of Uthman –Radia Allahu Anhu- and subsequently that they be handed over to him, and then he would pay allegiance to Ali –radia Allahu Anhu-. In this matter, truth was with Ali –Radia Allahu Anhu- as Ahlul Sunnah unanimously believe. Ibn Asaker narrated that Abu Muslim Al-Khawlani came along with other men to Muwaiya – Radia Allahu Anhu- and said: " Do you compete with Ali or are you his like? He said: No! By Allah I know that he is better than me and has more right to rule than me. But do you not know that Uthman was killed unjustly, and I am his cousin and I am the one who demands his blood so go to him and ask him to hand over to me the murderers of Uthman and I will leave this matter to him. So they came to Ali – Radia Allahi Anhu- and talked to him, but he did not hand them over." ---------------

Ibn Katheer related from Jareer Ibn Abdul Hameed from Mugheera: “ When the news of the murder of Ali reached Muawiya he cried. His wife said: Why do you cry when you have fought against him? He said: Woe to you ! You do not realize what the people have lost of merit, feqh and knowledge (i.e by Ali’s –Radia Allahu Anhu- death)” ---------------

Imam Ahmad narrated from Al-Erbadh Ibn Sariya –Radia Allahu Anu-: I heard the Messenger of Allah –sala Allahu Alyhi Wa Salaam- say: O Allah! Teach Muawiya the Book and protect him from The Punishment” ---------------

And in Sunan Al-Tirmithi through a Saheeh chain from the narration of Abdul Rahman Ibn Umaiyra that the Prophet –Sala Allahu Alyhi Wa salaam- said: “ O Allah! Make him a guide and guide him and guide by him” ---------------

From Ibn Abbas: “Abu Sufyan said to the Prophet : Give me three. He said: Yes.” In that hadith it says: “And Muawiya! Let him to be a scribe in your presence. He said: Yes” – narrated by Muslim. ---------------

Ibn Asaker said: “ The most authentic tradition narrated about Mauwiya’s merit is the hadith of Abu Jamrah from Ibn Abbas that he was the scribe of the Prophet ” – related by Ibn Katheer in Al-Bidaya wal Nihaya. He –Radia Allahu Anhu- was praised by many companions and Tabeein, and they testified to him being religious and knowledgable, just and patient, and also other good attributes. ---------------

When Umar Ibn Al-Khattab –radia Allahu anhu- made him governor over Syria he said: “Only say good things about Muawiya” ---------------

It is narrated that when Ali –Radia Allahu Anhu- came make from Siffin he said: “ O People! Do not dislike the rule of Muawiya , for if you lose him you will see heads falling of the shoulders as if it is Khandhal” ---------------

Narrated Ibn Umar said: “I have not seen a better leader after the Prophet than Muawiya. It was said: Not even your father. He said: My father is better than Muawiya , but Muawiya is a better leader than him” ---------------

Ibn Abbas –Radia Allahu Anhu- said: “I have not seen a man who is more fit to be a king than Muawiya”
---------------

In Sahih Al-Bukhari: Volume 5, Book 57, Number 108: Narrated Ibn Abu Mulaika: Muawiya offered one Rak'a Witr prayer after the 'Isha prayer, and at that time a freed slave of Ibn 'Abbas was present. He (i.e. the slave) went to Ibn 'Abbas (and told him that Muawiya offered one Rak'a Witr prayer). Ibn Abbas said: Leave him, for he was in the company of Allah's Prophet.

Volume 5, Book 57, Number 109:

Narrated Ibn Abi Mulaika: Somebody said to Ibn 'Abbas, "Can you speak to the chief of the believers Muawiya, as he does not pray except one Rak'a as Witr?" Ibn 'Abbas replied, "He is a Faqih (i.e. a learned man who can give religious verdicts)." ---------------

Narrated Abdulla Ibn Al-Zubair: “ For Allah is the action of the son of Hind (An expression of praise, son of Hind = Muawiya (r.a.a), we used to fear him. He used to be more bold than the lion standing on his claws, so we would fear him. There is none amongst the people of the earth more wary than him, so he used to make himself gullible for us. By Allah I wished if we enjoyed his presence as long as there is rock in this mountain" and he pointed towards Mount Qubays. Abdulla Ibn Al-Mubarak was asked: Which of them is better: Muawiya Ibn Abi Sufyan or Umar Ibn Abdul Aziz?. He said: By Allah, the dust that has entered the nose of Muawiya with the Messenger of Allah is better than Umar one thousand times. Muawiya prayed behind the Messenger of Allah . When he said: Samia Allahu leman hamida (Allah listens to one who praises him i.e when rising from Ruku) Muawiya said: Rabana wa laka Al-Hamd (Our Lord to you is the praise). What do you want more than this?! ---------------

Qatada said: If you woke up seeing deeds similar to those of Muawiya, most of you would have said this is the Mehdi. ---------------

Mujahid said: If you saw Muawiya you would have said: this is the Mehdi. Al-Zuhri said: Muawiya applied the way of Umar Ibn Al-Khatab for several years, not missing anything from it ‎ ---------------

The justice of Umar Ibn Abdul Aziz was mentioned in the presence of Al-Amash. He said: How would it be if you met Muawiya? They said: O Abu Muhammad you mean his patience. He said no, but his justice. ---------------

Al-Muafa was asked: which is better Muawiya or Umar Ibn Abdul Aziz. He said: Mauwiya was better than six hundred likes of Umar Ibn Abdul Aziz !! ---------------

Ibn Qudama Al-Maqdisi said: Muawiya is the Uncle of Believers, the scribe of revelation , and one of the Khalifs of Muslims – May Allah be pleased with them-. ---------------

Ibn Taymia said: " " Scholars have agreed that Muawiya is the best of this ummah's kings, for the four who were before him where Khulafa of Nubuwa, and he was the first of kings. His rule was that of mercy" ---------------

He also said: " None of the Muslim kings was better than Muawiya, and at no time were Muslims under the reign of king better than those at his time" ---------------

Ibn Katheer said: " The subjects all agreed in making baya' to him in the year 41 A.H…… He remained the sole ruler for this period until this year in which he died in, having Jihad in the land of the enemy established, the Word of Allah high, booty coming to him from the ends of earth and Muslims with him (living) in justice , peace of mind, and forgiveness." ---------------

Al-Dhahabi said in his biography: " Ameer-ul-Momineen and the king of Islam" And he said: " Muawiya is one of the best kings, with his justice surpassing his oppression" ---------------

Ibn Abi Al-Izz Al-Hanafi said: " The first Muslim king is Muawiya and he is the best Muslim king"

BATTLE OF SIFFIN

Sayyiduna Muaawiyah (radi Allahu anhu) rallied an army to face Sayyiduna Ali Sher Khuda (radi Allahu anhu). A battle took place at Siffin on the Syrian border in the July of 567 A.C. Sayyiduna Muaawiyah (radi Allahu anhu) was no match for Sayyiduna Ali (radi Allahu anhu) and began to retreat. By the clever proposal of Sayyiduna Amr bin Al As (radi Allahu anhu), the retreating army raised pieces of the Holy Quran on their spears demanding judgement between the two parties. Many pious Muslims on the side of Sayyiduna Ali (radi Allahu anhu) refused to fight seeing the Holy Quran displayed in the air.

JUDGEMENT

Two men, one from each side, were appointed to settle the dispute. Sayyiduna Abu Musa (radi Allahu anhu), a pious Sahaba from Sayyiduna Ali (radi Allahu anhu's) side, and the skilled Sayyiduna Amr (radi Allahu anhu) from Sayyiduna Muaawiyah (radi Allahu anhu's) side. Sayyiduna Musa (radi Allahu anhu) declared in front of the Muslims that it was decided to recommend the removal of both Sayyiduna Ali and Sayyiduna Muaawiyah (radi Allahu anhuma) and that the Muslims should select another man for the Khilaafat. Sayyiduna Amr (radi Allahu anhu) replied that: "He has declared the removal of his leader, while I would conform Muaawiyah as the Caliph." Chaos followed.

KHAARIJEES

Sayyiduna Ali (radi Allahu anhu) prepared to meet Sayyiduna Muaawiyah (radi Allahu anhu) again in battle, but he was moved from his task by a serious conflict that occurred among his men. Some narrow-minded people accused Sayyiduna Ali (radi Allahu anhu) of accepting a man-made judgement. Their slogan was: "There is no judgment but with Allah." They declared that Sayyiduna Ali, Sayyiduna Muaawiyah and Sayyiduna 'Uthman (radi Allahu anhumul ajma'in) were unbelievers and that Jihad should be declared against them. Ever since this event, they have been known as the "Khaarijees", which means, "those who left the fold." They maintained that the Khilaafat should be given to the most eligible Muslim, regardless of his origin. The Kharijees are not regarded as Muslims.
