Could anyone please shed some light on which of the 2 histories is a safer bet?

-Length of Syllabus
-Current Scoring Trend
-Enjoyability

etc.

I m also confused what to opt ????? Indo Pak or Islamic history ???

I have no idea about islamic history but as far indo.pak history is concerned syllabus is lengthy, when subject matter is being covered in single hundred marks paper.

In the wake of introduction of new scheme of syllabus by fpsc it is hard to predict about the scoring trend. Indo.pak has been my optional in 2010 and 2012 so as per my experience and observation , now it has room for scoring high.one more thing while taking history related subjects we must should keep in mind that if we have aptitude for history and maintaining keen interest then regardless of lengthy or short syllabus , it becomes easy for us.

according to me...Islamic history is easier than indo pak history..and it also cover islamic studies paper...2nd it is much intresting than indo pak history....

That's according to your choice and thinking. Indo-Pak History can also help in Pakistan Affairs paper and occasionally citing some references / arguments in Essay paper.
