Question Book written by Masood A.A Qureshi & Shahid Qureshi for CSS???

I jave opted Agri as optional. Its new to me
I have bought book written by Agriculture Management and Development for CSS. It has 77 chapters and a book of approx.850 pages. When i try to start reading it, i feel detail is too much in the book and for 100 marks only it will cost alots of time to prepare. Also seems very tough and the fear that reading this book will take time till 2013 to prepare for css.

Anyone got some good idea about what book i should study?
Or need to go with this book.

Default Book for Agriculture resposne to Chintoo 2010

A.A. Dear, I recommend a book titled " General Agriculture" by Muhammad Akhtar Abbas (PSP), Edition 5th (2010), Publisher Emporium, Lahore. It is written for CSS aspirants. Also try for its latest edition. See Economic Survey of Pakistan 2011-12, Portion Agriculture, to update the facts and figures.
Regards

Go for general agriculture be akhtar abbas if you have never read agriculture before. If yoh are an agrigraduate then go for soil science and general horticulture by National book foundation. And crop production for agronomy. Read relevant topics from these books like soil errosion, soil fertilizers and nitrogen fixation and fate from soil science book
Irrigation methods and horticulture related topics from gen horti book
Crops like wheat cotton sugarcane etc production from crop production book
One more important, insect pest management and important insects and pests of cash crops from entomology book.
You can get more than 80 marks if you cover these evergreen topics. Good luck. You can opt out genetics and crop.physiology related questions.
