Default My two pence

Assalam o alaikum.
If you are having Agricultural/Geography background, Forestry should not be a problem for you. It will be mastered in less than 3 weeks. But if you are from Social Science background, then it will trouble you for a while.

You need to study:

Forest Types
Silvicultural Operations
Silvicultural Systems/Tending operation
Range land Resources/Grazing Systems/Carrying Capacity Determination
Wildlife Management Principles/Protected Areas/Values/trophy hunting
Watershed Management/Erosion/Its role in flood control
Agro/Social/Participatory Forestry and its Socio-Economic Aspects
Global Warming/Climate Change in response to forestry
Issues in forestry in the sub-continent. e.g. Desertification/salinity/water-
logging/water crisis/Eucalyptus

Dear, I sincerely hope that if you manage to master these topics, you will for sure get good score in forestry subject. You need not to go deep, but be statistical in your approach.Good luck!

Assalam o alaikum.
Apologies for the delayed response as I was busy in official routine.
Time of preparation depends on your own understanding and interest in a subject. Yet, forestry will take 3-4weeks time generally.

if u have botany background then u can prepare forestry within a month. See the syllabus and past papers and then make the final decision.
Wishing you best of luck.

through the syllabus
Nadia if Socio is tough for you then go through the syllabus of forestry. If it appears easy for you then opt it.because forestry also is a scoring subject.
Regards

Default @nadiamughal

3 weeks at the max. Forestry is not difficult for agriculturists. Don't forget to cover the above mentioned topics.
