forestry or journalism

plz help me out in choosing subject... which one is easy forestry or journalism??

angelstar Sunday, November 06, 2011 12:52 PM

Aoa,

eshal sister, journalism is easy and waz scoring but in 2010 it was badly hit by fpsc.
forestry is also easy but 1 teacher said that u should have background in this to SCORE MORE AND SPECIALLY TO UNDERSTAND IT because it has it's own terminologies
if u want to replace it then choose punjavi or sociology because both of this r easy
scoring
cope with these in short time
easily understandable
international law is also best choice after that
hope it will clear u.
regards.

Journalism is easier and usually more scoring than Forestry. However, there are always exceptions and scoring trend may change unexpectedly any year.

i have opted sociology already... n about punjabi i m not sure because i can't write it and even cant speak it fluently like urdu ... n its words are also a bit difficult ones :(

now what to do ?

journalism is easier to understand than forestry. Second, the subject can be covered in a short time. Except 2010, journalism has remained scoring.

but whats the trend now? is it easy to handle the paper of journalism? the approach needed to solve questions is a bit trickiest one... isn't it?

If you have started reading Sociology and covered some of its contents, continue with this selection. Sociology is also a good subject giving above average scores most of the times.

Both Sociology and Journalism have more or less same scoring trend. However, Journalism has much shorter syllabus than Sociology. Journalism paper is also comparitively easier to be prepared and to be attempted in the exam.

then what u suggest, should i quit sociology? then what wud b opted?

journalism will be a good option for u because u are not familiar with both of them,so whether u opt journalism or forestry ,they bear equal importance for u but journalism is easy and u can write in ur own words just grasp the basic concept but in forestry u have to learn different terminologies and also memorize names, also its short ...but its u who have to study so do what that pleases u ...best of luck ...

Aoa,

eshal sister don't drop sociology because it's easy and scoring subject i will advice u to take either int.law or punjabi because just see past papers of journalism like 2011,2010
pattern of this subject is now changed.mostly questions come in paper r required personal observation, familiarity with current affairs regards to particular subject like journalism question now come even more tricky.like last time question came Critically evaluate socio-economic impact of mobile package advertisements on Pakistani youth
now this is only answered if u have study extensively and other than syllabus
so choose subject according to that.if u r good in conceptual study then go ahead.
u said that u have no background in punjabi . DON'T worry punjabi is not difficult even 1 who has no background can easily prepare it in just 1 to 2 weeks.
i hope it will clear u .u can go through the specific subject thread and then decide ur subject.this is my opinion 1 can differ because seniors know better than me.
regards. :shy
