Plz guide me how to prepare english literature, to the point, for css. Thanks

asalamoalikum i really need ur help i have chosen short stories as an option in part and i dont have much notes on it can u pls suggest something and also if u can help me regarding criticism that would be great i need help regarding the compulsory question can u give me an outline as how bwst to attemp that question and also how best to score in drama coz i never get good marks in it

Drama
You must have complete understanding of text.
You must go through the text alt least 3-4 times in your due course.
Dont cram from helping books, be original, you have to be very cogent especially when you are trying something different.
Reference to the context is a sort of question that can make your paper ordinary and extra ordinary, for this you have to switch over to text again.

Short Stories
There was no helping material available, when i was making my appearance
But it was my favorite, i just read them all, prepared notes and got 56 marks

sparknotes.com and gradesaver.com are usually considered to be good sites for relevant material, but I'd recommend this for only paper II. These are good for the analysis of the text which is important in Paper II where questions are more text based. For paper I however, you should look to prepare yourself to answer questions on only the most important aspects of a writer (FPSC knows that covering 14 writers to the minutest degree is not very practical and therefore, the questions are just like the ones Punjab University used to ask in MA papers until about 6-7 years ago). Prepare your own notes on these topics (or get some quality ones from somewhere), learn a lot of quotations for each topic and you should be good to go.

i got your address from cssforum upon having known that you have done ma english last island i have opted English litrature as one of optional in pms punjab expected to be held in june . i exude lustrous and luminous intellectual impulse and spark in written english which is why i am venturing out with literature, but my great dillema is the non-availability of good signpost to galvanize myself with monolithic and marshaled way to attempt paper. if you can give me any worthy counsel and line of strategy i would be ever so thankful, you can refer me to anyone of your acquaintances who could see me through. i live in lahore and your help or some other person through your good agency is direly warranted. if posssible do come to my rescue without any reserve as i may as well be of great help to you in many other optional and all compulsory of css&pms. waiting in anticipation. i am a male
